A convenient application integrated with Rynus’s proprietary features for Requesters to transfer project big data quickly and efficiently. This section provides users with detailed information about the Rynus Transfer app: What exactly it is, who it is designed for, what system requirements are required to run this app, and what its key features and functionalities are.
What is Rynus Transfer?
Rynus Transfer is a powerful desktop application that plays a vital role in the Rynus network. It is specifically designed to simplify, accelerate, and optimize the data (especially big data) transfer process, particularly for AI Training and 3D Rendering projects. This tool offers a seamless data transfer experience, ensuring that users can efficiently move data to and from the Rynus decentralized GPU network.
Who Uses Rynus Transfer?
Rynus Transfer is tailored for Rynus Requesters (AI Training and 3D Rendering clients), who need access to high-performance computing (HPC) services. Requesters use this app to:
- Upload AI Training jobs and 3D Rendering project data from their local devices to the Rynus network.
- Download the results of these jobs from the Rynus network back to their personal devices.

Note: These requirements may change based on actual conditions to ensure optimal network operation.
Key Features and Functionalities
Key Features
The Rynus Transfer application stands out due to its specialized data transfer features, which are optimized for the complexities of big data transfer in AI and 3D rendering workloads. These features leverage Rynus’s proprietary protocol, offering an advanced approach to data handling:
- File Fragmentation: Large files are automatically split into smaller segments for faster transfers.
- File Compression: Data is compressed to reduce transfer time and bandwidth usage.
- Pause/Resume Functionality: Users can resume interrupted transfers from the point of disruption and pause or resume transfers at any time.
- Selective File Upload: Rynus Transfer identifies and uploads only the files that have been updated.
- Optimal File Routes: The app identifies the most efficient routes for data transfers, improving speed and reducing latency.
- Peer-to-Peer Transfer: The Rynus protocol supports direct data transfers between Worker nodes, enabling faster and more efficient decentralized data transfer.
Each of these features is designed to enhance the speed and efficiency of data transfers, particularly for big data sets. For more details on each feature, please refer to the Rynus Big Data Transfer.
Key Functionalities
The Rynus Transfer app is currently focused on two core processes, which ensure a smooth and efficient data transfer experience:
1. Upload Job Data:
- Navigate to the INPUT tab.
- Select the Upload option.
- Choose to upload your computing job data by selecting the appropriate Folder(s) or File(s).
2. Download Job Results:
- Navigate to the OUTPUT tab.
- Select the job result Folder(s) or File(s) you want to download.
- Download the selected results directly to your device.
These two functionalities form the backbone of the app, enabling users to seamlessly upload their computing job data and retrieve the results timely and efficiently.
